Artemis Dashboard

Questions archers and coaches ask

What is the Archer Skill Level?

The level Artemis uses to describe how tight your groups are. It is worked out from your score or from your plotted arrows, and corrected for face and distance, so 18 m and 70 m are comparable. Higher is better.

I forgot my dashboard passphrase.

Set a new one in Artemis and make a new export. Nothing is lost, because your data stays in Artemis.

Why can't I open my old Artemis backup?

Backups use a different format. Use Export to dashboard in Artemis instead.

Which browsers work?

Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. Sharing straight from Artemis to the installed dashboard works with Chrome on Android; elsewhere use Open database.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once installed. Your last export opens without a connection.

Is my data uploaded?

No. See Privacy.

My database is from an older Artemis version.

Usually that's fine: the dashboard upgrades a copy in memory, the same way Artemis does, and your file is not changed. Very old databases (before database version 46) cannot be opened: open them once in the current Artemis app, which upgrades them, then use Export to dashboard.

Can I open a database that is not protected?

Yes. Open an Artemis database file (.db) with Open database. It is shown, but not remembered on the device; only protected exports are kept.

A number looks wrong.

Check the face and distance of that session in Artemis. A 40 cm face recorded at 70 m, for example, gives an impossible level.

What do Beginner and Advanced mean?

Beginner shows your level, sessions and rounds. Advanced adds analysis, comparisons, equipment and wellbeing.
